Want goo karma?

Keep a fish aquarium at home. Every day you are feeding the fishes, caring for them and changing water etc is good karma. Besides it is good Vastu. A Fish tank in the house can take care of the many Vastu flaws.

A fish tank represents all five elements. It has water in it, the fire in the belly of the fishes represents 'agni' element, the stones and artificial plants represent earth, the breathing of fishes represents air and there is sky above it. If you don't know or cannot apply the corrections, a fish aquarium is a good alternative. But its placing has to be correct.

Vastu besides, an aquarium in the house brings many health benefits. It is scientifically proven that if you look at your fish tank for five minutes, it reduces stress and lowers your blood pressure. Many scientific studies have proven that it slows down the heart rate. Seeing if therapeutic value, many hospitals have started keeping aquariums. It reduces stress before the operations. Many Alzheimer's patients have benefited seeing an aquarium for hours. Many modern offices of have started keeping an aquarium in the visitor’s gallery.

A fish tank lying in your drawing room looks nice. Besides it is a source of attraction for children and adults alike. Your fish tank can be good from social perspective also for it can be a good conversation starter.

Whether it is a big tank, starting from ground or a small one, standing on four legs or a table/shelf, it is to be treated as an overhead tank and kept in the west. Ponds, under water source belong in north, northeast or east. But any overhead tank should be in the west, northwest.

Never keep your aquarium in your bedroom, for it can disturb your sleep. Fishes represent constant mobility and you don't want that in your bedroom. You want peace and tranquility. Don't keep your fish tank in the kitchen also.

Never keep your fish tank next to any electrical equipment, computers or cellphone. Fishes are very sensitive to any electric or electronic impulses, and they die soon.

If the fish’s die of natural causes, it is considered a good omen for it is believed that one of your bad karma is over. Just replace the dead fish with a live one.

Never do any physical exercise next to your fish tank. The results can be disastrous for obvious reasons.

Change the water and filters at regular intervals. The fishes should remain in a clean and fresh environment.
