Are your stairs a ladder of success?

Stairs are an important part of the house and play a major role in our success. Conversely, the stairs also play a destructive role in your, business or health if incorrectly placed. It is crucial that these are placed right.

1. Stairs should be running a clockwise direction. Anti-clock wise stairs are not good for the health of every one. Stairs should be running from east to west or north to south.
2. The ideal number of stairs is odd numbers i.e.1, 3, 5, 7 and so on. Or if divided by three, the remainder should always be 2, like 11, 8 or 14.
3. The stairs should not be placed in north, northeast or east. It should not be in southeast either. The ideal place for stairs is in south, southwest or west. The stairs are not located in centre or ‘brahmsthan’ either. The stairs should not be immediately in front of the main gate or outside. It is not good for the finances of the household.
4. There should be nothing underneath the stairs like the washroom, kitchen, ‘Pooja’ or storage room. Some people make a study room or servant quarters under the stairs. Under side of stairs should be vacant. That is good for the health and studies of children. There should not be water in any form, which is good for health of everyone in the family.
5. Never paint red colour on the stairs case. The ideal colour is yellow, but if yellow can't be painted, then do white.

Gods that bring peace and prosparity

Do you have these Gods in your temple?

God's image or picture is a good thing to have in your temple. You worship them according to your beliefs. But do you know that some gods do more harm than good? If you have their images or pictures, you will do well to remove them immediately.

Picture or image of Nataraja or dancing shiva in the house should be removed at the earliest. People say it is an art form, that is why we keep them. But actually it is the demonic form of shiva, an image of destruction and death, of shiva doing tandav?' Would you like to keep such a thing at home?

Similarly, image of goddess Durga as 'maha kali' should not be at home. Goddess Durga had assumed this form for the destruction of demons. How can she be kept at home?

If you have a 'shani's' idol at home, you will do well to remove it immediately. He carries his wife's curse on his head. He will bring nothing but ill luck in the family. How ever if he is part of the group of nine or 'nav grah' it is okay to keep in the house.
Some people worship 'bhairo baba's' and they like to keep his image at home. But it brings nothing but bad luck because he is worshipped in many tantric rituals. Family folks should never keep his picture or image at home.

Goddess Lakshmi is very kind and brings in lot of prosperity. But suppose she is in a standing position, she would take away every thing for it indicates that one is moving or about to move. It doesn't not indicate stability. Similarly lord Ganesh and goddess Saraswati do have a place in the home temple, but never in standing position.
Don't keep two images of the same God. It brings in nothing but confusion. So what do we do with the spare one or the ones we don't want? You donate them in the public temple straight away or put them in a creek or river.
