It is not a quotation from some great man. I have just made it up to
highlight the fact is that salt is such a common thing. Your food will not
taste good without it. You can do without every condiment, but not salt. It is
easily part of any kitchen.
Why? One of the reasons is that it is so cheap and commonly available.
Have you thought that this commonly available item has some other uses? The
salt has great powers to absorb negative energy and emanate positive energy. It
is used in Vastu to eliminate Vastu dosh (defects).
If your washroom is in wrong direction, i.e. northeast, , take some salt
in a ceramic or clay bowl and place it in the washroom. The negative effects
will be largely eliminated and you'll have positive energy in the house. But
please make sure that you change the salt every week. Also don't throw it
anywhere. Put it in garbage can. You can use this remedy in all corners of the
house.
At times you feel very strongly that something is not right with the
house, but you cannot place your hand in it. Or if you feel there is lot of
negativity in the house. You put some salt in water and mop the floor
with it. Make it a weekly feature and there will not be any negativity in the
house.
Sometimes you yourself feel very negative after coming into contact with
some negative person. Or you feel some one has put some evil eye. Take a salt
water bath. Rub salt all over the body than wash it down with water. You will
feel fresh again.
Similarly if your feeling very depressed or low, hold some salt in your
hand for five minutes than wash it off. In fact, wash your hands wit salt
before going to bed. You will in high spirits again.
